Congenital intrahepatic portosystemic shunt

61 yr female came for routine screening.

Ultrasound findings

• A cystic focus measuring 1.8 x 1.4 cm noted in segment VIII, seen communicating with branch of right portal vein and right hepatic vein.
• Colour Doppler clearly demonstrating intralesional flow and venous communication (arrow).
• Suggestive of congenital intrahepatic portosystemic shunt.
